Description
This is our first sale from a top of the market collection, comprising of just early stereo rarities on Decca HMV, UK Columbia & RCA. First labels issues in Near Mint condition to 99% of them, all described in detail with plenty of pictures. Includes many items rarely seen on ebay.
1967 First year pressing of Mahler: Das Lied Von Der Erde. Uk HMV SAN 179 White Dog and Angel labels against gold backgrounds, with libretto. Christa Ludwig, and Fritz Wunderlich are soloists in this Symphony for Contralto & tenor with Orchestra. Klemperer conducts the Philharmonia with Chorus. A very nice clean original here of this nice scarce set, no spindle marks and playing surfaces completely free of marks. Original booklet also near mint.
This record set is visually Near Mint, in a Near Mint box, records not warped, labels are clean.
