Wendy Smith and the Windy Mountain Boys - “Carter Stanley (Will Lead That Great Band)” b/w “Saviour Guide Me” (Fortune F355). Wandell 'Wendy' Smith, a native of Ranger, West Virginia who had moved to Michigan began performing bluegrass in 1959 and as Wendy Smith and The Windy Mountain Boys recorded this 45. The Windy Mountain Boys included: Joe McKinney, guitar; Luther Hurst, fiddle; Glenn Mann, banjo: George Williams, bass; Wendy Smith, mandolin; and Don Smith, vocal bass. Record is in M- condition.
