!!!AN ALL ORIGINAL 1968 FIRST PRESS STEREO!!!
This album was The Beatles FIRST release on the now famous Apple label. It was entered into the charts on the 7th of December 1968 and went straight to number one-where it stayed for 7 weeks! Making it the FIRST double album to get the top slot...EVER!
The rather unusual fact about this album is that it was the first release by The Beatles which contained only SOLO material.
By the time 1970 ended, the total sales of this wonderful album were estimated to be 6.5 Million! However...get this...The only other album that beat this a few years later was "Saturday Night fever" !!!

G+. GORGEOUSLY shiny vinyl. The vinyl has quite a few visible marks to her, but after playing her through, I found just light and occasional tics over the small affected areas, with the occasional jump (this may be due to my new stylus and it's incredible sensitivity-a slightly heavier stylus wouldn't have a problem-CERTAINLY NO STICKS)....Light background noise.
A simple joy to listen to, which would only improve with a professional clean....Really nice playback!
EACH RECORD IS FLAT
The labels: VG+. All four of the labels are extremely bright and clean with the DARKER apple.
Light spindle marks to each label showing quite a bit of play, but these can only be seen when angling to the light....
Hardly ANY hole wear to each side!
Proud 'KT' tax code to sides 2 and 4.
"Mfd in the U.K." to each of the labels.
"An EMI Recording" printed on each side...BUT without the brackets!

The Cover: NUMBERED: 0556337 It is the first run TOP loading with a great shine to her.
Garrod and Lofthouse gatefold without tears, rips or writing!!
The spine is slightly squashed, but remains strong, with light lifting to the laminate just on the spine.
Has the printing of Stereo to the back top right.
The top has some light water damage.
There are a few very small crescents of spidering near, as well as some indentations.
(Please see the detailed pictures for yourself-it really is rather nice).

Very good and very strong Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold....Still opens with that lovely crackle and is lovely and clean inside.

Inners: VG+! Original WHITE inners. One is incredibly well looked after and have barely any sign of ageing, with the other having a split to the bottom.
They have the die-cut corners to each.
"PATENTS APPLIED FOR" & "MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN"
THEY ARE ORIGINAL AND SUPERB
Pictures: The 3 pictures present (John, Paul and George) are ORIGINAL. They do have tape marks to each-other than that:
