On offer here is the “MEGA RARE” and rarely seen Modern/Free Improvisation Jazz LP
by THE GORDON BECK TRIO titled “GYROSCOPE”. This is the UK original LP released on the rare MORGAN label No. MJ 1, with matrix Nos. MJ + 1 + A + ST & MJ + 1 B + ST.
Any Fan of Gordon Beck or serious collectors of the Modern/Free Improvisation Jazz scene will want to have this “MEGA RARE” item added to their collection.
Personnel line up of the trio is;
Gordon beck (piano), Jeff Clyne (bass) and Tony Oxley (drums)
Track Listing is;
Side One: "Gyroscope"; "Clusters"; "Suite No. 1".
Side Two: "Miss T Flying; "Sincerity"; "And Still She Is With Me"; "Oxus".
The vinyl is in EX++ condition, as near mint as it gets, white textured Morgan record labels are in MINT condition. Record cover displays lightest of shelf wear scuffs to corners & light creases to laminate, and just a trace of general handling wear to opening edge, would still rate as EXCELLENT.
This is a really rare item (especially in this condition), highly sought after and almost impossible to find, ask yourself, when was the last time you saw this at auction ?.
