Description
PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. Because of that dedication, there should be no need to open a resolution dispute before working with us. Please keep in mind, we would prefer to continue to provide you the opportunity to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 18,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so. Thank you for your interest and support. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ SHIPPING: USA ~ 1 LP = $4.00 Media Priority rates vary by area; please inquire. THE BASKERVILLE HOUNDS

USA - DOT RECORDS -
The TALULU BABIES were undoubtedly a killer rated '67 era garage band... though they only issued two well respected 45's, their only LP has always remained obscure; here's a solid keeper copy - 50+ years of age and HIGHLY collectible.
Based in Cleveland, THE BASKERVILLE HOUNDS were: bassist William Emery, drummer Michael Macron, guitarists Lawrence Meese and Dante Rossi and keyboardist Jack Topper The Baskerville Hounds originally came together as The Talula Babies (see separate entry). Signed to James M. Testas local Tema label, the Talula Babies released a pair of little heard 1967 singles "The Hurtin' Kind" b/w "Mine Forever" and "Debbie" b/w "" = now highly sought-after $$$ valued garage 45 gems!
Signed with AVCO Embassy, as The Baskerville Hounds, they released the 1967 single "Hold Me" b/w "Here I Come Miami". A top-100 single, the effort was followed by "Caroline" b/w "Last Night On the Back Porch" on Buddah. Unable to find a major label for their next single, "Space Rock, Part. 2" b/w "" was released on Testa's own Tema label. A rollicking, organ-propelled slice of garage rock, the single was quickly picked up and issued by Dot Records.
As was standard marketing procedure, on the heels of the single's unexpected success the band was rushed into the studio to record a support album.
Think: New Colony Six ~ circa 1967
Cleverly released as 1967's "The Baskerville Hounds" Featuring Space Rock, Part 2", the album offered up a then-typical mix of popular covers and originals, highlighted by original numbers such as the fuzz guitar-propelled "Sad Eyed Lady", "Please Say" and the title track are all worthy. Hardly one of rock's "pretty boy" combos (the liner notes described Rossi as having a "comic appearance"), the doubled breasted brown suits sure didn't help their appearance - they were far better than their appearance.
With nod to "Bad Cat Records" <=> find them on the web and enjoy....
