1968 Uk Decca SXL 6355 1st anywhere issue WideBand ffss 1st Press labels of the Albeniz / Fruhbeck De Burgos Espanola from Fruhbeck DeBurgos & the New Philharmonia. Lowest most desirable 1G1G stampers to this, the Nirvana of some audiophiles, such is rthe naturalness and immediacy of the recording. It is also the 1st time some of the guitar works were transcribed (by the conductor here) for full orchestra. Here is an audiophile site quote:
There was once a time (during the early 1990's) when I could state that this was "the best sounding orchestral LP" I had ever heard. The sonics are superb in every way; naturalness, transparency, cleanness and dynamically. It was not an accident that this was the very first record placed and described on this list back in January 2000, because this LP is so incredible, desirable and it is "mucho fun" to listen to, regardless of musical tastes.
1st type wide band ffss circle labels have Made in England By.. at ten O clock, as you would expect for 1968 originals. Unmarked playing surfaces to this and lovely condition labels, no wear to the centre hole. Original blue border Stereo inner present and intact. Sleeve rear is clean, a true collector investment quality original. Several ED1's this week.

This is one of some very exciting classical rarities in my list this week, strong on Decca SXL's & HMV stereo, TAS Listed Audiophile and a great Chamber Music selection. They are all well worth a look and a bid, same low start no reserve on everything regardless of value.
