Description

1969 BEATLES UK ALBUM ABBEY ROAD WITH MISALIGNED APPLE SLEEVE AND 'FACTORY SAMPLE' STICKER

This is a beautiful and rare copy of The Beatles album 'Abbey Road'. This is a fully complete 1st pressing with all the following features: It has the misaligned Apple logo on the back cover together with the dark green Apple labels and original Apple records inner sleeve. Both the vinyl and sleeve do NOT feature the track listing 'Her Majesty' indicating a 1969 1st pressing. The special stand out feature of this album is that it features a 'Factory Sample - Not for Resale' sticker on side one of the vinyl label. The vinyl has the matrix numbers: YEX 749-2 and YEX 75 -1 again indicating a 1969 1st pressing.

Label Condition: Both labels plus the all important 'FACTORY SAMPLE' sticker are in NEAR MINT condition. With just the very very lightest spindle wear which is only visible under a strong light, and very very light foxing to the sticker.

Vinyl Condition: The vinyl is in VERY GOOD+ condition. There are only a very few surface scratches which do not effect play (no jumps or sticks). The vinyl plays perfect.

Cover Condition: The sleeve is in VERY GOOD++ condition. This would grade as EXCELLENTcondition but it has a small scuff mark in the right corner. No writing, no marks virtually no edge wear at all.

Inner Sleeve Condition: The original 1969 Apple inner sleeve is in NEAR MINT condition. There are no marks or stains at all.
