Description

Up for auction is a EXTREMELY RARE 1969 Vinyl LP from a group called "Cykle" with Jimmy Sossamon on Label Records.The record is in near mint condition/never played. The album cover is in near mint condition also with factory shrink wrap intact. The corners are sharp and clean. The vinyl and label are clean with only a few minor scuffs due to storage and handling. The back of the cover has lyrics listed for all 10 songs.

I posted a third picture scanned from the original newspaper Article ID: 358537 called "Full Cykle" published in the Fayetteville Observer-Times Arts & Leisure section by staff writer Michael Futch on Sunday January 4, 1998. The picture shows Jimmy holding one of his "Cykle" albums. The article states the "Cykle" album was recorded over a stretch of Saturdays in early '69 in Charlotte, NC at Arthur Smith Studios. In May of that year, the band's first and only single "If You Can" backed with "In Love My Friend" was released. Sossamon wrote both songs. The LP came out a month later. Only 500 copies were pressed. The article goes on to say that Jimmy Sossamon owns seven sealed copies of the original album. He keeps them in a safety deposit box.
