PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! Top Copy - rare ... the '69 first press is a collectors $$$ prize ... well many years ago a small fledgling "company" issued a micro-pressing of the album in 300 numbered copies only which sold out seemingly overnight ::::
:::: One of the 300 copies was unearthed -here- ( copy #290) and the best thing is the incredible (non digitalized) analog sound quality - as strong as the first press in every way... Includes a group photo insert that did not come with the first press OCTOPUS 4 were a bizarre psychedelic underground crew of four who released sadly, just one album in 1969 - a true delicious experience of toxicating acid-rock ... an album so rare that it went under the radar of many collectors ... Filled with an oddly thrilling mix of self composed tunes and special treatments of cool classics, the band features Hammond organ and fuzz guitar along with a tight formidable sound, strong vocalist...memorable tunes...one of our favorite psych albums - all time. One could easily tell there was a bit of derangement present with these guys, as evidenced in the narration segment of the young damsel Cinderella in distress when attacked by Frankenstein in the Black Forest ...as he attempts to get it on with her, backed by great sound effects.... This is a truly LEGENDARY album. Has a delightfully freaky edge to it throughout = every track is a winner. Something's Dead, Walking On The Waves are just two of the great tracks within. Some really trippy creative material & playing combines psychedelic interludes, as heard in the long freakout verison of (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction arguably easily surpassing the Stones version.... all in all not one to miss, our recommendation...
