We have a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 2/3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers.
We mail all paid orders out once a week on Fridays/Saturdays. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule to Monday. We strive to keep our shipping and handling costs as close to actual charges as reasonable. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. Please be aware we have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.

Really rare 1969 first pressing in thick gatefold cover with absolutely crazed (explicit artwork in the middle gatefold) ...
Snatch and the Poontangs were actually features bandleader Johnny Otis on piano and drums, his son guitar player Shuggie Otis and vocalist Delmar "Mighty Mouth" Evans as The Hawk, Prince Wunnerful, and The Mouth, respectively. In 1969, under a nom de plume that guaranteed the record's exposure would be limited to the underground, they cut this record full of raw guitar led blooz-rock, appropriately titled Snatch & the Poontangs featuring sexually explicit and X-rated language that was extreme even by the standards underground music of the day.
The record couldn't have gotten much airplay either, filled to the gills as it was with profane and sexually explicit language. In that sense, it was something of a groundbreaker, with extemporizing as blunt and filthy as almost any to be heard on rap records several decades later. The language was barrier-busting (or should we say ball-busting), much more so than the blues-rock backup music. Otis did have the wit to rework his "Willie and the Hand Jive" hit as "Hey Shine" (with suitably no-holds-barred lyrics), and the spoken narrative "Two Time Slim," set against lonesome blues guitar, is a little more inventive in its delivery and musical track than much of its surroundings. The wordless "Two Girls in Love (With Each Other)," with its orgiastic female moans and improvised blues guitar licks faintly in the background, also sticks out for the relative difference in its construction.

CONDITION: The cover: thick gatefold with crazy freakbrothers styled x-rated art on the inside. All solid and stiff with just very little minor wear starting VG++ having no spolit seams, no bends, no writing...
The vinyl: all glossy both sides = visual VG+(+) as only a few random minor hairlines, nothing at all deep, mainly just few scuffs, so plays excellent = no noise
