CLEAN.....Hard to find 1968 first pressing vinyl in thick gatefold cover...the bombastic hell-raisin' ZEPHYR with their legendary first album ...a roller coaster hardrock thriller ...

This excellent first ZEPHYR, the mighty ZEPHYR is with many highlights. Candy Givens has a powerful voice, and gives Janis Joplin a run for her money in wailing screaming theatrics over and under Tommy Bolin 's amazing distortion guitar showcase ...he's on fire ....and in those days he was only 19 years old... This band is h-e-a-v-y as hell ...brutal...  The driving blues styles mixed with vicious hardrock and Tommy Bolin's soloing is quite a feature, occasionally resembling Jimmy Page's style on early Zeppelin albums, particularly on Somebody Listen and Hard Chargin' Woman. Not a bad track in the bunch, although not for the faint of heart ... turn it up loud and wait for your neighbors to call the 'heat'....

CONDITION: The gatefold cover is hard to find clean...this copy one of the better ones found in awhile near"EX"(excellent) tiny bb delete at top right and otherwise has solid seams, tight look, collectible keeper with no upgrade needed...in most cases this is an upgrade copy, really hard to find this clean...

The vinyl is clean "EX" (excellent) to M- ...hard to find this clean and plays TOP LEVEL very nice ....
