Please keep in mind, we would prefer to continue to provide you the opportunity to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over +22,0001 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! Harder to find than you may imagine with minty clean cover - here a survivor! STILL IN ORIGINAL FACTORY SHRINK WRAP
Original 1969 first pressing of the 3rd and final Shadows Of Knight Lp...a impact filled jammer with infectious tunes, finds the revamped Shadows Of Knight with pretty much the same crunchy blues hard-rock format as before (a good thing!) ... they have a driving garagey sound led by noisy fuzzy guitar, pulsating bass, and thrilling raw vocals that take the album to another level.
While their third studio effort isn't as well known as the prior two, it's probably the best of them (even without 'Gloria') as they demonstrate more versatility and range. Here there is garage-blues, garage-psych, and even some very odd but fascinating forays into actually interesting/good neo-bubblegum, best of the style and not a turn-off sound in a way is played , along with the sort of sneering garage rock being their stock in trade ("I Wanna Make You All Mine" and a different version of "Shake") and a lascivious blues workout on "Back Door Man," Shadows Of Knight wade though psychedelic moves ("Uncle Wiggley's Airship"), attitudinal garage-punk ("I Am What I Am"), hard rock with lots of fuzzed-up guitar soloing ("I'll Set You Free" and "Bluebird"), and moody pop-rock gems ("Alone" and "Times & Places"). Without much in the way of a musical focus (and with producers Kasenetz and Katz reportedly loading down the songs with jamming overdubs without the group's OK),
Shadows Of Knight third and final album delivers enough great moments to make this an interesting and effective album .
