This is the 135 gram version of the LP, I confirm I have weighed it, 150grams in its sleeve, this good heavy Vinyl produces better analogue sound quality playback similar to today's heavier vinyl pressings although the only 150gram pressing was registered as 1st issue in the PF archives.
Condition - LP very lightly used has been seldom played hence little disc wear, Sleeve and cover in VGood to Excellent condition with very slight wear on top and bottom edges front lamination is perfect.
There are two small scratches on side one beginning of track 2 which clicks on playing for the first 30 seconds or so but it is in a loud track so less noticeable and the second is the end of track 5 much less audible and smaller see vinyl photograph side 1. otherwise the rest of the album is in mint condition no other scratches or marks at all and plays perfectly as you would expect of a heavier gauge vinyl.
This LP is part of my well looked after private collection ever since I purchased it new having seen very little occasional use and has been well stored and looked after and otherwise plays perfectly through my adc diamond cartridge and SME titanium Arm setup.
A real nice album and the best quality of the original early first issue, please see all photos for more detail.
The Music was specially composed by Pink Floyd for the French Film More directed by Barbet Schroder staring Mimsi Farmer and Klaus Grunberg, its about a young couple in the hippy era of the 1960s finding freedom in Ibiza in the drug culture of the time, and the music has that dreamy if somewhat hallucinogenic theme with some excellent songs, I would say this album is one of Pink Floyds best of their early albums, the one that got away. a Waters Wright Gilmour Mason production with a Hipgnosis cover design depicting the windmill scene from the film and has in a single non flipback #BC3 cover with a grey tint picture on the rear of the couple facing right.
Side 1) Cirrus Minor, The Nile song, Crying song, Up the Khyber, Green is the Colour, Cymbaline, Party sequence
Side 2) Main theme, Ibeza Bar, More Blues, Quicksilver, A Spanish Piece, Dramatic theme.
The Album will be posted in specialist Record album Packaging to protect it in transit, insured and delivered signed for upon receipt.
