Description
Original 1969 The Beatles Abbey Road APPLE Records SO-383 Factory Sealed 12" LP, Factory Sealed, as shown.
This version is referenced in the collector community as the Spizer SC2A release (First Pressing, 3rd Batch) which has the following attributes:
1) Slick construction rather than the first two batches which were directly printed on poster board and folded over/glued to complete the cover.
2) Omission of "Her Majesty" listed in the song titles.
3) Apple logo on reverse rather than Capitol logo.
This is also dated to the early pressing by the original Korvettes Dept Store price sticker on the back.
Cover has a tight seal which has resulted in just a light bend on the cover mouth side (see 5th photo). Additionally, the lower seam of the seal is not in perfect alignment with the bottom of the cover (see last 2 photos) in the area below Paul.
