This was The Beatles' eleventh official album release and interestingly 

enough, the first album of theirs to included non-Beatles material. 

Released, after a delay, on January the 17th in the UK but earlier, on Jan 13th in the USA. The album made it up the UK charts to the 3rd 

position....With The Beatles' 'White' album denying it the top slot.

There were only modest sales-in comparison with other Beatles releases-

as the sales were around 800,000 within the first three months, but it did

 go over1 million sales by the end of the year. This could have had 

something to do with the album having only four original tracks and the

 rest was George Martin's film score.

So, here's the details of this album up for auction:

This is technically a 2nd press, but released in the same years as the 1st.

WOW.........VERY, VERY EARLY PRESSING INDEED!!!!

Vinyl:

QUALITY 135g

VG visually VG+/EX audio playback.

There are just light hairline marks to the vinyl.

I have just played her all the way through and found a simply superb 

deep and rich sound reproduction. Only some very brief, light and 

occasional short lived bits of soft background crackle. It really was a

 treat to listen to.

The run ins were lovely and quiet, with some crackle in the run-outs, but

 nothing offensive.

I noticed Hey Bulldog had a magical stereo split with McCartney coming

 out of one speaker whilst the music blasted out from the other speaker :)

Even the quieter, more instrumental side 2 is lovely and clear...The sitar 

humming away in the background at the start of the Sea of Time is 

gloriously clear and did make me smile.

This is a rare early pressing of a hard to find record with the earliest 

Mothers you could hope for!

Still providing quality audio too.

Flat, heavy and an all original glorious vinyl-yes with visible BUT only

 light marks which only occasionally register SOFTLY on playback!

She has the "Mfd. in U.K." to the 9 O’Clock position.

NO Sold In UK statement...It is getting quite difficult to find these 2nd 

pressings released in 1969.

HUGELY EARLY MOTHERS/STAMPERS. 

Nice dark 1st printing run Apple, rather than the later lighter ones.

Only light spindle marks, which are visible when angled towards the 

light and barely any central hole wear-as can be seen in the images 

provided.

NO WRITING OR LIFTING

VERY FRAMEABLE

THIS VINYL REPRESENTS EXACTLY HOW THE BEATLES 

WANTED YOU TO HEAR THIS ICONIC ALBUM.

It is the original cover 1st printing cover.

Has the two red lines above and below the text to the back. The front sky

 and back card are still bright white and in tip top shape.

The flipbacks have some damage to the top right on the back as there is a

 small strip missing-again: please see the detailed images for yourselves.

Has the GARROD & LOFTHOUSE credit.

There are a few small lines of spidering to the front laminate, as well as

 some tiny fingers of spidering emanating from the seam...REALLY

 NOTHING BAD AT ALL….Would still frame very well indeed.

Strong & LEGIBLE spine.

THE ORIGINAL COLOURS TO THE FRONT STILL SHINE

 OUT IN ALL THEIR VIBRANCY

It is the original black die-cut inner with the window to one side.

In SUPERB condition-Only one point of detraction is a small split to two

 seems. Other than that she is in almost time warp condition!

All in all it is a rather rare, 2nd pressing of a wonderful album. She is 

one heck of a rare beauty, sounds great and remains all together in her

 ORIGINAL STATE from 1969!!!
