In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Original 1969 VINYL 2xLP's first pressing - COMPLETE with the large booklet with is very scarce and hard to find as issued only in first pressings!
Uncle Meat was the second two-album set from the Mothers, and very different from the first. The first, Freak Out!, was also the group's debut effort. However demented and unorthodox, Freak Out! was a tightly integrated work.
Uncle Meat was introduced by Zappa who believed "anything can be music". Conversations among band members about sub-standard working conditions are cheek by jowl with exquisite scored orchestral segments, followed by tightly clever and catchy songs about suburban life. Zappa also introduces themes he would revisit later, a favorite techniques of his, and other composers. Mr. Green Genes makes his debut, we see him again on Hot Rats. Uncle Meat was noticed by a wide variety of players. Those of you yet unconvinced that Zappa was arguably our most innovative composer after Monk, yet struggled through life with a level of sexual/emotional maturity an 11 year-old boy would find embarrassing - and have already translated Tengo Na Minchia Tanta - need only skim the 12-page booklet that comes with this 2 LP -set, and that my friends, is no way to treat a giraffe.
So many favorites among this sprawling double album like, The Air, Project X, Cruising For Burgers, Sleeping In A Jar, Ian Underwood Whips It Out, and many more. As with all music by Zappa and Mothers Of Invention, you simply have to embrace in its totality - mad as a March hare, brilliant, and absolutely unique.

CONDITION: The cover is thick gatefold cover is M- SOLID and SHARP all over = looks very collectible! No seam splits, no bends, no writing...nice colors
The vinyl The 2 records are all glossy "EX" (excellent) to M- with at worse a few little hard to see superficial inner sleeve paper scuffs, nothing much, first look you notice the records are CLEAN with very shiny grooves ...all 4 labels are clean...nice collectible from 42 years ago...
