Description
Here is a RARE 1st pressing Doors album from my collection offered up for sale: The Doors album "The Soft Parade", released in 1969 by Elektra EKS 75005 Stereo, this is a 1st pressing, still has the RARE printed inner sleeve w lyrics, has the heavy vinyl 1969 style RED label with the "Big E" logo, cover and vinyl are in well cared for condition!
The record rates VG+/EX, is clean and glossy, side one side rates VG+, has some very light marks, looks like sleeve marks, side two rates EX has only a couple light marks, nothing heavy or feel-able, has been PLAY TESTED. Plays with excellent quality, clear sound, minimal surface noise, only a few light pops, no skips or jumps, a VERY enjoyable listen!
The gatefold cover rates EX, is clean and bright, has great color with almost no ring wear, edges have minimal handling wear but top seam had partial split neatly re-glued, no tape, binder edge is still EX and readable, has a tiny corner bump, inner sleeve is clean, has seam splits neatly taped, has been a very well cared for 49 year old! Will be shipped in a .3 ml plastic sleeve in a record box with tracking. Vinyl will be shipped in "throw away" paper sleeve outside the cover to prevent vintage cover/sleeve spits.
