Original 1970 first pressing VINYL, rare and sought, here's a NICE clean copy!
If you are a fan and or collector of Pink Floyd or the Greatful Dead, this is a must have. Pink Floyd has put together some of their greatest works from this era, and they are only on this soundtrack. That's just the start as contains essential rare tracks by USA psychedelic garage band "Kaleidoscope" + others...Without a doubt, this is one interesting 1970 soundtrack due to the diverse line-up of contributing artists.The best songs would be the Pink Floyd numbers "Heart Beat,Pig Meat", & "Come In Number 51, Your Time Is Up", the Grateful Dead's "Dark Star" & "Love scene" + Kaleidoscope's "Brother Mary" + Mickey's Tune" ... The 1970 film score'Zabriskie's Point' displays each artist's full-hearted attempt to provide a decent piece for the movie's love scene on the beach. Apparently none of the songs were suitable for the film's director Michelangelo Antonioni. As remarked by Floyd bassist/vocalist Roger Waters, "It was a sheer hell, there was no pleasing this man whatsoever"
