SUPER RARE ... 1970 LIMITED EDITION PROMOTIONAL-ONLY RELEASE ALBUM FOR A SWISS COFFEE COMPANY... in the exact vein as a highly collectible UK / European 60's & 70's library album -- somewhat similar to "Chapelle Music Library" or "Music Dewolfe" Lp's that were released in the UK, only Pop Hot Coffee is a universe level away harder to find... and features the melting pot works of one STEPHAN SULKE & PIERRE CAVALLI ...
So let us introduce you to an incredibly rare psych-funk-pop-oddity from 40 years ago, and be sure that it is one hard to get Lp ... many world class collectors have never seen it !
"POP HOT COFFEE" begins with a german recording engineer, called Stephen Sulke who worked a lot in Switzerland during the 60's and 70's. That man recorded a lot of excellent stuff still undiscovered today ! (For example, the Pacific Sound "Forget Your Dream" album which is considered a monster psych item)
Here, a clean original, even (IF) when found in European collectors circles the album is in bad condition ...with some excellent psych-pop-folk tracks by Stephen Sulke (of Proud Mary, Pacific Sound, Duffy fame) and Pierre Cavalli among others ...Among others, highlights include "Elephant Groover" with strong driving arrangements and massive pounding drum beats, the sunshine poprock tune "The Eyes Of A Summer Day" or the psych/folk grooves of "Kama Sutra" with a great guitar performance by Pierre Cavalli ...
