We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 17,000 plus positive feedback.   We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. HARD TO FIND very first rare 1970 collectible issue before the company re-designed the gatefold ~~ the front cover has no mention of "Pink Floyd" or the albums title -- unlike most copies... Harder to find than you think ~ especially clean (see details after song listings)

One of the highly underrated Pink Floyd album's and one of the Floyd's more experimental albums ~~ a fact which is emphasised by the opening and closing tracks. The opener is the title track "Atom Heart Mother", a 23 minute spacey epic. The song features great orchestration, sound effects aplenty, and most importantly, some outstanding keyboard work from Rick Wright. The album's three middle songs are more conventional. "If" is a Roger Waters love song, and is one of those rare songs of his showing off his sentimental side. "Summer '68" is a Rick Wright song, and is one of his best vocal efforts ever. It also features some great keys and an incredible chorus. The song is truly a classic, and the best of the album. Then there's David Gilmour's "Fat Old Sun". This is a gentle, uplifting spacey guitar piece with a great guitar solo, and has the kind of life that "If" was lacking. The album then closes with the experimental "Alan's Psychadelic Breakfast". The song is composed of a recording of one of the band's roadies cooking breakfast, and in between, three sections of music. The first is a floating Rick Wright keyboard solo, the second is David Gilmour delivering a starkly beautiful guitar performance, and the third is an outstanding full band jam, finishing the album off perfectly. Although not one of Pink Floyd's more accessible albums, Atom Heart Mother is a brilliant one, and should be in the collection of any serious prog fan.

CONDITION: The Cover: The FRAGILE laminated gatefold cover with first printing cover design is completely solid, rated near "EX" (excellent) would have rated M- but for cover a little light previous handling, very minor, just not quite mint. This copy remains VERY collectible = looks great after 46 years ...No delete marks, no split seams, no bends, no writing...

The Vinyl: clean and smoothly clear over both sides; "M-" play graded TOP LEVEL CLEAN enjoyable without distraction...the Harvest labels are clean
