Description

1970 The Carpenters "Close to You" Album signed by Karen and Richard Carpenters. EXELLENT!! Condition for this 1970 album by The Carpenters their 2nd studio album which earned eight Grammy's including Album of the Year, Song of the year. It won Best New Artist and Performance by a Duo for "(They Long to Be) Close to You" Close to You album is #175 of the Top 500 albums of all-time. Karen died in 1983 at 32 from a little-known eating disorder at the time "Anorexia" But her legacy carried on with her songs over the years. Any true fan of Karen Carpenter and The Carpenters would love to have this autographed album in their collection.
