One of an outstanding collection of Classical rarities we have just had in, all nice clean originals from a retired reviewer.

1970 near mint condition UK Decca 1st Press SXL 6442 Richard Strauss Sinfonia Domestica Mehta & the LAPO. Lowest and most desirable 1W1W first year stampers showing this is mastered by the excellent Harry Fisher. The virtuoso Oboist Barbara Winters has the prominent role. A great account of a minor masterpiece, best sounding version I have ever heard, and I love Strauss.

No surface marks, has clean labels and the sleeve is Near Mint. When possible, the Burkett mastered ones are the best to have, his sound is always as lifelike as possible.
