We have a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 2/3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers.
We mail all paid orders out once a week on Fridays/Saturdays. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule to Monday. We strive to keep our shipping and handling costs as close to actual charges as reasonable. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. Please be aware we have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.

ORIGINAL 1970 first pressing (gatefold cover) released only in England, and their second album, not to be missed or underestimated....
Formed in Warwick, England, the Edgar Broughton Band arrived on the London underground music scene in 1968. Led by the Broughton brothers, vocalist/guitarist Edgar and drummer Steve, and fleshed out by bassist Arthur Grant and guitarist Victor Unitt (who also briefly served with the Pretty Things), they soon signed with the Harvest label, and issued their debut Wasa Wasa — a collection of underground electric blues jams anchored by Edgar’s Captain Beefheart-like vocals — in late 1969. The Edgar Broughton Band returned in 1970 with "Sing Brother Sing", which reached the U.K. Top 20 and spawned a pair of minor hit singles, “Out Demons Out” and “Apache Drop-Out” (a fusion of Beefheart’s “Dropout Boogie” and the Shadows’ “Apache”).
"Sing Brother Sing", released in 1970 is GREAT early 70's heavy psych with truly bizarre lyrics. This is their best album in many collectors opinion...there are influences from Captain Beefheart to the Doors in fuzzed-up guitar psych heaviness and as demented as the first "Wasa Wasa" album, which is saying a lot... with even a better mix of stuff, perhaps. "There's No Vibrations, But Wait!" is free verse spoken over a two-chord vamp that is vaguely reminiscent of "Sympathy for the Devil" only 10 times more flipped out and one of the albums great highlights; "Keep Them Freaks A Rollin' " is a vignette about, apparently, a schizophrenic adolescent; "Refugee" is a minimalist chant, kind of in the style of the Doors' "My Wild Love"; "Old Gopher" is Doors-like again, kind of like "Road House Blues"; "Aphrodite" is actually pretty -- a harbinger of subsequent Edgar Broughton Band albums. "Psychopath" is two-part madness, the first part, while quite characteristic of the band, relies on a graphic violence-against-women that once upon a time was offensive and kind of edgy and is now just offensive; the second part, flips the switch to Napoleon-XIV kind of portrayal of a lunatic. And pretty good if you like that sort of thing.
All the songs on "Sing Brother Sing" wallow in a hippie-ish, kick-backed experimental hardrock blues-rock style, extenuated to perfection by Broughton's resonant grumble and growling vocals, and surrounded by psyched-out mixtures of guitar, bass & percussion. The group's peculiar heavy stoned sound give odd tracks such as "There's No Vibrations but Wait," "Momma's Reward," and the two parts of "Psychopath" progressive rock-type tendencies with a homemade wit, which would be the band's most daunting characteristic outside of Edgar Broughton's singing. Although the Captain Beefheart and Frank Zappa comparisons are unavoidable -- held together with elements of psychedelic, heavy rock, and blues, the music on Sing Brother Sing is captivating because of its raw integrity, and in its refusal to adhere to structure, formula, or to travel any one beaten path.
