RARE and sought 1970 original first pressing vinyl in glossy (awesome graphics) gatefold with completely different cover to the USA issue and different track listing as well!
On the highly sought VERTIGO SWIRL label from Germany (they of whom made of the best durable & high range frequency vinyl) ...yes, the real deal, a high quality pressing, better even than the British release...the audiophile epicurian advised as such.... ((listen!))
The mighty HEEP first Lp has ´eavy moments, gentle moments and harsh blues and lots of doomy atmospherics. Great variation of different kind of tracks. The ultimate HEAVY classic with the nifty prog-rock intro and introducing the patented Heep banshee harmonies complete with wild breakout organ solo, wailing slide guitar and moody atmospherics.
(A-1) Awesome dark & doomy cruncher "Gypsy" starts the album at 6:34
(A-2) Walking in your Shadow: Cool heavy riff, great guitar tone. An underated classic
(A-3) Come away Melinda: Leaning a bit towards the errie side, still a nice ballad.
(A-4) Lucy Blues - hard dark UK blooz-boom grooves, not released in the USA
(B-1) Dreammare - An excellent heavy rock stomper featuring a great guitar solo. Tops!
(B-2) Real Turned On - Another hard riff based heavy featuring lots of juicy slide guitar
B-3) I'll keep on Trying - Good one with a nice meaty emotive guitar solo.

CONDITION: The cool gatefold cover is laminated and crisp clean "EX" (excellent!) all solid with no seam splits, no bends, no writing anywhere ~ looks like and IS a great addition to the music library collection of early 70's heavy rock and/or prog or both!
The vinyl is glossy M- expect to play tremendous ! Full wide range frequencies come rootin' 'round your soundroom!
