One of the rarest UK VERTIGO SWIRL LABEL LP releases, titled “(Ballad Of )A Peaceful Man” by GRAVY TRAIN, released in 1971 on the VERTIGO (Swirl Labels) No. 6360 051.
Gravy Train are; Norman Barrett (Lead Guitar & Lead Vocals), Barry Davenport (Drums & Percussion) J. D Hughes ( Flute, Keyboards, Saxaphone & Vocals ) & Les Williams (Bass & Backing Vocals).
Tracks are; Alone in Georgia - (A Ballad Of) A Peaceful Man - Jule’s Delight - Messenger - Can Anybody Hear Me - Old Tin Box - Won’t Talk About It - Home Again.
Vinyl is in EX+ condition, just lightest trace of the odd hairlines, Swirl labels as new.
Gatefold cover too is in EXCELLENT condition, just some light creasing around edges and light scuffing also to edges, although spine is clear and readable.
It comes with Swirl inner sleeve which shows a small tear 14mm to inner edge.
