Description
3 Albums Set of the DCI's First Championships LP SET 3 volumes, 1972, Whitewater, WI
1972 was the very first year of DCI. Included are 12 top scoring jr. drum and bugle corps of 1972 minus the Kilties who were not recorded by previous contract. This recording was in August 18th, 1972 with exception of the Garfield Cadets 13th in Prelims, august 17 (replacing the Kilties.)
Vol 1 - Anaheim Kingsmen (1st) - 27 Lancers (4th) - Des Plaines Vanguard (7th) - Bridgemen (11th) Vol 2 - Blue Stars (2nd) - Muchachos (10th) - Bleu Raeders (12th) - Garfield Cadets (P13th) Vol 3 - Santa Clara Vanguard (3rd) - Argonne Rebels (5th) - Cavaliers (9th) - Casper Troopers (6th)
I no longer have a turntable to listen for any audible scratches. I've looked each record over and see some marks, but I don't think they are scratches. It has been years ago and I know I played these a few times, but I don't remember any problems or mishaps. There are a couple marks on the jackets, mainly on backs of Vol 2 & 3.
