PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. Because of that dedication, there should be no need to open a resolution dispute before working with us. Please keep in mind, we would prefer to continue to provide you the opportunity to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 18,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so. Thank you for your interest and support. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ SHIPPING: USA ~ 1 LP = $4.00 Media Priority rates vary by area; please inquire. GERMANY - SWIRL VERTIGO - 847 200 VTY

SUPERIOR 1972 GERMAN original GATEFOLD press on the HIGHLY sought SWIRL VERTIGO label...
This album was recorded while Stewart was still handling vocal duties for The Jeff Beck Group, so it stands to reason that if you like them, you'll like this. There seems to be a heavier approach to now only Stewart's vocals, but also with the overall production. And since this was done at a time when Zeppelin, and Cream still to a certain degree were leading the way on "Heavy Blues" that makes sense. With backing by the mighty JEFF BECK GROUP... and including guitarist Martin Pugh (STEAMHAMMER) ....in a Nice blend of heavy blues, melodic folk and rowdy rock & roll... Rod & crew opens the album by jump starting “Street Fighting Man,” blowing it out without a hint of self-consciousness ... And it knocks the listeners socks off, starting in the middle, filtering in a crashing break, then hitting and splintering the song with another Stones riff from “We Love You,” before carrying the whole thing back around, making the number his, without even nodding to The Stones. “No Expectations” shadows “Handbags & Gladrags,” full of despair and heartbreak, restraining the listener with a timing that made me wish the song would go on forever. But more, it proves that Rod was no one-trick-pony, the song is chocked full of emotion, yet never gives over to sentimentalities; marking him as one of the great musical story tellers. “Man Of Constant Sorrow” has to be hands down one of the greatest songs ever written, and Rod places his own guitar right out front, leaving Mr. Wood to edge his way in with a haunting bottleneck, that adds both definition and depth to the vocals, yet was sparse enough to keep that bootneck sound echoing my head for hours ... wishing for more. The whole album is understated, and therein lies it’s strength ... with Beggar’s Banquet, along with Let It Bleed doing the same thing. An underrated album that is a timeless listen every time, never tiring
