Description
Given wisdom is that the first 1972 pressing was TXS 108 on a green label. Later in the same year the run was TXLS 108 on a blue label. But this is TXS 108 on a blue label so who knows? My guess is it's a later 1970's pressing which Decca were fond of.
The gatefold cover / sleeve is a nice solid example. No rips, seam splits, sticker tears, markings or writing. Square corners with very minor rubbing. Has some water staining and age browning on the inner sides. Some ringwear on the back. I give the sleeve 7.5 /10 to reflect the cosmetic condition.
Labels are dark blue background with silver. Decca full frequency stereo sound. On the adjacent run-off grooves the machine etching reads ZAL-11209.P.2 and ZAL-11210-P-3 for the respective sides. The labels are very clean with hardly any evidence of play.
The vinyl is flat with no dishing and fresh and shiny in appearance. Has the odd handling and scuff mark so I rate the vinyl 9 /10 for condition.
The intact Decca poly lined inner sleeve is in clean condition with creasing as the photos show.
