Description

1972 Uk Decca first type issue of the matching pair but separetaly issued SXL 6554 + SXL 6555 Rachmaninov Piano Cti 1-2 & 3. Ashkenazy with the LSO under Previn. Back then this was the ultimate combination of soloist and material, with the leading conductor and orchestra in the Uk on the best sounding label. The Penguin Guide described this as hauntingly poetic as a set, preferring it to his later digital version on the same label. As do I.  Near mint records and sleeves. We pack carefully. This is already in a new heavy poly outer with antistatic inners added with outer sleeve and records all layered behind each other to prevent splits.
