Description
1973 1st Press UK Island LP: King Crimson 'Larks' Tongues In Aspic'.
First UK pressing with no publishing credit at the bottom of the rear sleeve. Other attributes of the first pressing is Pink-rimmed Island labels, the rear sleeve has 'Basing Street london W11' beneath Island logo and the spine is pinched at both ends.
Matrix Runouts are stamped with 'SARK' on side A which is etched.
Side A Matrix: ILPS 9230 A 2U PO - SARK.
Side B Matrix: ILPS 9230 B 2U PP.
Original inner sleeve with a generic white inner with slightly rounded corners and PATENT Nos.11255 55 MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN, also came with a printed inner. EX+.
I haven't played this since the 80s and is a great example of the first pressing.
