Description

Original AFRTS transcription LP RL‑27‑9, pairing Los Trovadores de España’s Fiesta en España with Vicentico Valdés’ Aquel Amor. Produced exclusively for U.S. service members and distributed to bases worldwide, AFRTS discs were never sold commercially. These pressings often show factory quirks and light inherent noise even when new.
Photo Note: Any circular “ring” visible in images is only a reflection from the ring light used during photography. It is not present on the record or sleeve. This lighting is used to clearly show gloss, label condition, and surface details.

VG+ record / VG sleeve. Both sides retain very strong gloss with only minimal cosmetic wear including faint hairlines, light sleeve scuff, and minor gloss wear. Most visible marks are superficial and located on non‑playable outer areas. Playback has consistent faint surface noise believed to be related to the test deck used; no pops, skips, or tracking issues were detected. No audible defects found on either side. Labels are clean with only a small out‑of‑place mark on each side. Sleeve shows a small tear at the opening, minor wrinkles, and light ring wear; no splits. Playback notes may vary depending on equipment. Sold as‑is.

Grading Note: AFRTS transcription discs were utilitarian pressings intended for broadcast use. Light inherent noise and minor cosmetic anomalies are common even on clean examples.
