Description

Hello, and thanks for looking. Please excuse any not-so-great pics; still getting the hang of it.

This is a very nice original 1973 triple LP record by Count Ossie & the Mystic Revelation of Rastafari,  "Grounation," on MRR records, No number. Ossie is best known among Reggae fans for bringing Nyabingi Culture, considered the strictest form of Rastafarianism, to reggae, and many music historians credit his song “Oh Carolina” (on this LP) as being the first reggae record ever made. It's a Jamaican pressing, stereo, and features 16 superb tracks, many quite long and almost hypnotic, including Bongo Man, Ethiopian Serenade, Poem, Hundred Years,  So Long, and more. Doesn't get more roots than this! Excellent and scarce LP.  Recording a bit (just a bit) raw, as it was recorded. Cover neatly taped on 3 sides, as is common for many Jamaican LPs. Cover is VG+, records VG+++, bordering on M-. Long out of print!

Please note that postage will be higher than ebay's forced $4 limit ... you simply cannot mail a properly-packaged LP for $4 today! Please wait for an invoice if you're the winning bidder.

As per ebay rules, we only accept paypal. Whenever possible, we will combine shipping on multiple purchases. Also, please note we mail weekly, not daily.

Bid with confidence, and check out our other auctions !
