Search 1973 MANFRED MANN'S EARTH BAND MESSIN' VERTIGO PROG ROCK UK LP 12 INCH EX
Hi, today we have to auction an original 1973 1st VERTIGO UK press and Excellently conditioned LP vinyl copy of " MESSIN' " by Manfred Mann's Earth Band on 12 inch / 33RPM.
The labels are the vibrant Vertigo spaceship edition with super sharp detail they are near perfect. The Catalogue number is 6360 087 (De Luxe).
The Black and Shiny vinyl on both both sides have very light amounts of light hairlines which do not penetrate deeply into the vinyl but can be given 8 out of 10 for visual satisfaction. There is no play grade is possible as we no longer have a record player but there does not seam that any of the "light hairlines" would cause major distortion as the vinyl really is in very nice condition.
The labels are Excellent plus overall as the print is strong with light spider trails only.
The original inner sleeve remains crisp with a couple of seam splits but there is mild yellowing to the paper.
The outer sleeve which is in very good plus condition as it has no seam splits or extensive creasing. the spine is excellent as there are no major cracks along it (only mild creases) and the text is near perfect. There is some light wear, i.e. light corner rubs, minor ringware and a couple small areas of lifting but it is clean and square and also retains it's original View-finder disc which is inserted within the window of the inside gatefold.
