We have a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 2/3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers.
We mail all paid orders out once a week on Fridays/Saturdays. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule to Monday. We strive to keep our shipping and handling costs as close to actual charges as reasonable. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. Please be aware we have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.

Rare original 1973 first pressing an outageously bloody awesome first album by LARD FREE the heavy underground prog psychedelic crew... full of great spacy psyched-out progressive rock with searing splatter guitars, superb drumming and great reeds and bass playing. This thing is a listening trip ! ...one of our all time favorites...plug your head in...
Lard Free's first album is stunning, full of energy and deeply enjoyable. If you can picture Sabbath's Geezer Butler (first two albums) playing with King Fripp, Brian Eno and maybe a less virtuoso Bruford making an album, you might have an idea of what this album sounds like! While its nothing like the other two Lard Free albums, sometimes the Eno/Fripp influences are overpowering the rest of the influences but this is relatively minor. Those long tryppy tracks are rolling around with superb bass, hypnotic drumming and violent splatter guitar freak-outs; simply fascinating. To some they may sound as jams, but not quite, as this is more to do with acid underground grooves that drew heavily on Krautrock to the point that they are often categorized as such although both bands/projects are French. So if you are into Krautrock, you know what you have to do!

CONDITION: The cover: laminated gatefold is VG++ with a little light handling scuffs on lamination, a couple of small shelf wear spots on spine ...still with vibrant colors - collection keeper ...no split seams, no bends, no writing ...
The vinyl: still with the original white baggy inner sleeve...the sides are shiny/glossy having some light minor hairlines, one long (nothing audible) superficial scuff, only cosmetic VG+(+), the record plays in excellent levels, lots of enjoyment...the cool "Vamp" labels are both clean
