Description

PINK FLOYD U.S. 1973 LP "The Dark Side Of The Moon" on HARVEST Records distributed by CAPITOL--first pressing--SMAS-11163 w/two folded color posters and GATEFOLD COVER.  This is the album where everything clicked for PINK FLOYD--songs were written in a more concise way than on previous records and the songwriting was stronger than in the past.  Studio effects were combined w/melodic guitar and sax solos and female vocalists on the record like CLARE TORRY and DORIS TROY added to the diversity of sounds that were created for this record.  Having lyrics about pressure, anxiety, madness, boredom, mortality, and money added to this record's universal appeal.
