PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! This is the very hard to find 2nd pressing from well over 35 years ago with improved sound quality ...first issued in 1973 as a British limited edition vinyl collectible... it's turned into a highly prized collectible as a rare private pressing with eye-popping 2 sided holographic picture disc visuals, in full album (LP) format--
One of the first ever picture disc rock albums and never quite like this -- with terrific eye-dazzling designed graphics (the fem singer is in the mix partially nude!) ~~ Saturnalia were the British heavy psych band "HORSE" who released a very rare and sought after LP in 1970.
The group is Saturnalia, a heavy psych underground band formed out of the ashes of the mighty HORSE (having a collectible 1970 heavy psych Lp on UK Rca) ...Saturnalia features male & lucious female vocals trade offs amid dark atmospheres, hard edged guitar, tight rhythms, and great infectious self penned tunes that grow with each spin....
Saturnalia was produced by Yardbirds legend Keith Relf. Featuring the beautiful Aletta and Adrian Hawkind on vocals and Rod Roach on guitar. Hawking and Roach were previously together in Horse. An excellent product of the '70s British underground. Strong arrangements with some heavy/psychedelic accent in guitar playing. Nice bass playing and drumming in assorted and fascinating combination of psychedelic rock. The music in total borders on pre-prog-rock with a strong leaning towards hard rock, albeit a different slant than what was available in that era. SATURNALIA were making music that was original and off the beaten path, and is very appealing. Old (and new) hippies will love this album! Besides, when talking about a 1973 British only limited edition album with eye-popping designs like this and including these kinds of wild psych moves... it's surprising to see an original at all....This is what collectors hunt for, so snag it up before you never see again...

CONDITION: The cover is transparent hard plastic that houses the picture disc, is M- TOP CLEAN, no split seams that you may usually find IF this item is found at all...
The vinyl is fabulous eye-candy 2-sided visual (hologram) picture disc LOOKS MINT and at the time of first issue in 1973 was a notorious noisy pressing (as are all were) as 1973 technology in vinyl picture discs was only in experiemental undeveloped stages, so, they weent back to the pressing and issued a 2nd pressing (this) improving the sound quality, and that's what they were aiming to do when issued again ... still what you hear then is the incredibly good hard psych music, still with some low surface here or there, that, again, has to do with only the manufacturing and not how it was taken care of, it's very MINT clean actually! The picture disc is amazing looking on both sides ...
