PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Early Pink floyd, early Hawkwind, early Heldon and early Sensations Fix = all had one thing in common: SPACE ROCK ... adventurous creative acid experimentations stretched out in rock format...
Sensations Fix in their early stages (first couple of Lp's) were better than 3/4, or most of the highly rated multi-hundreds of dollar valued Italian "art rock" albums ... a vastly underrated, under appreciated crew, the atmospheric highs and creative playing is as rewarding as any of the spacerock bands of legend. Heavenly keyboards mesh with majestic distortion guitars creating a mind melting listening zone ...“Fragments Of Light” is a real trip and rests smack in the center of the psych – prog format, delivering a wonderful symphonic 40 minute journey. All songs carry a heavy swirl keyboard sound via the talents of underground Italian prog legend Franco Falsini. Overall this album is quite relaxed in delivery, and contains some choice fuzzed e-guitar solos and wonderful space keyboard phrasing. Songs carry a very warm feel to them thanks to the analog synths and are very well constructed with some nice variations and complex yet smooth interludes. This is truly one of the great space rock albums. With song titles like "Nuclear War In Your Brain", "Space Closure", "Telepathic Children" and "Space Energy Age", you know right away you'll be treated with some truly mindblowing electronic/prog with some very lush synth sounds (Moog, Eminent). Of course the guitar is used here as well, like on the title track, "Windopax and the Stone Sender" and "Music is Painting in the Air" (which is the closest to the more standard Italian prog fare you expect from the time on this album).
