Scarce, collectible, no USA release!

Original 1975 AUSTRALIAN release pressed from the original British metal masters ...(great sound quality) and never issued in the USA.
Fire-power Beck guitar from 1968-69 backed by a tight aggressive band featuring
Jeff Beck (Yardbirds), Rod Stewart (pre-fame), Ron Wood (pre-Rolling Stones), Micky Waller (Jeff Beck Group '68) and Tony Newman (May Blitz)

Highlights are all over the place, and including NON-LP 45's such as "Tallyman" - a great mod/popsike effort sounding like '60s "Creation" or the "The Who." Another hit-single ( non Lp 7-inch) "Hi Ho Silver Lining" - a UK styled pop-sike nugget featuring a very unorthodox guitar-solo from Beck. Sounding quite a lot like the Yardbirds.
Jeff Beck's first album "Truth" is possibly his greatest and most consistent release. 7 of the tracks come from that album. "Beck's Bolero" is in all but name the Yardbirds, with the same line-up that did "Happening 10 Years Time Ago" and the "Blow Up" performance. Beck's version of "You Shook Me" sounds a lot like early Led Zeppelin; even Rod Stewart sounds like Robert Plant. Other highlights from that album is a re-recording of "Shapes of Things", which has been slowed down a little making it an ever greater song.

Their second album "Beck Ola" is represented by 5 powerhouse tracks and with a driving band, Rod Stewart's vocals feel the heat and become overstrung at times - which adds to the intensiveness; evidence in "Plynth (Down The Drain)"

                 CONDITION: The cover: rated: "EX" (excellent) Nice wall-poster styled GATEFOLD cover is very delicate and hard to find without shelf wear, while there is a little on back side (just starting) the front panel with Beck & guitar is M-  Overall in high end collectible condition, only light visible prior use. The b&w ink is not faded, there are no delete marks, no split seams, no bends, and no writing  ...

The vinyl: Rated: M- smooth and clear audio performance pressed from the UK metal maters, the audio sound is dynamic arguably surpassing other versions (USA, etc) as well, both EMI labels are clean
