KEEP MOVING ALONG-2:23 (Combs) The McClure Quartet of Chilhowie, Virginia not only believe what they sing, but live what they believe. This is so apparent when you see them sing in person. The joy of singing about the Lord Jesus Christ shows in their faces. The McClure Quartet are all the sons and daughters of Mr. & Mrs. Sam McClure who are also well known bass and alto singers. Ken McClure, the lead is really at his best when singing the old spirituals such as “Surely He's Able". This is the second time the group has recorded this song and by popular demand it is on this record. Margaret McClure Widener shows that she has one of the best alto voices in the area in the song “Yonder on the Hills of Glory". Bill McClure has a smooth tenor voice—just right to blend with his brothers and sisters. Rounding out the group is John Robert McClure, singing bass just as his dad Sam taught him. John Robert really shows himself in “After Awhile". I know you will agree that Shirley McClure Rowland can get the best out of the piano. Shirley is also the mother and member of the singing “Rowland Family." It gives me great pleasure to wholeheartedly recommend this record to you. DONALD G.
