NOTES: I found a wonderful collection of Brubeck LPs this week, great stuff featuring longtime bandmates Paul Desmond, Joe Morello and Gene Wright, as well as Cal Tjader, Ron Crotty, Bill Ruther, Herb Barman, Lloyd Davis, Bob Bates, Norman Bates, Joe Dodge, Joe Benjamin, Gerry Mulligan, and others.

Each of these is the original pressing unless specified otherwise.

Each record will be offered here with a very low opening bid, so you can really get as many as you want for a very reasonable price. Don't miss out!

The record titled above and shown in the photo below is the original vinyl USA pressing by these legends of cool jazz.

The record looks shiny with a few superficial scuffs and some light marks -- it plays pretty well and has clean labels.

The gatefold jacket is the real treasure here, though. On the inside of the gatefold please note it was signed in black fine-tip pen by both Brubeck and Desmond. Paul signed first, "For Gene, Paul Desmond," and Dave wrote, "For Gene Ham From Dave Brubeck." Desmond's death in 1977 came relatively soon following this signing, presuming the duo were on tour in support of this 1975 LP during the remainder of 1975 and some of 1976. This is definitely one of Desmond's final signatures.
