Likely never played 45 of Funk Electro Soul Garage with Amazing production values considering He used a Reel to Reel 4 trk in his basement! Original 1975 Pressing.

Gary lived 5 miles from here and was a notorious eccentric character among many from this area that produced GENUINELY Far-Out Musicians and his music reflects this unique isolation. Mid 60s to late 70s bands such as "Basket of Flowers" "Mind Garden" "Lord Fuzz" (biker band) "The IDS" (who opened for the Dave Clark 5 in 1965 with flowing long hair) most had no need to put on airs of being far out. The lead singer for Basket of Flowers was found entwined w his girlfriend both naked inside his VW microbus atop an isolated mountain field w the exhaust fixed to a side vent w peanut butter. That was 1967 while the rest of 60s culture was enjoying the summer of love and other mass delusions these small town bands were creating unique examples of pure American rock with no likely chance of ever making it.
