Artists – PATTI SMITH Titles – 'HORSES' Label - ARISTA Records AL-4066 (1975) Description & Sound – This is the debut LP from one of the truly BIG names in the punk rock 'NEW YORK SCENE' during the 1970s, PATTI SMITH, also known as an author, poet & TV personality had a HUGE hit with BECAUSE THE NIGHT, co-written with THE BOSS. The VINYL is the real prize here. Although just over 45 years old, the vinyl is still super shiny with practically NO imperfections to speak of. Under bright light you 'might' be able to spot some 'light' signs of being handled, but this vinyl looks more NM- than anything else. The labels are just about as nice with bright colors & great clarity. It has recently been played 'all the way through' resulting in clear, uninterrupted music'. GOLDMINE standards grades this at NM- and I agree The JACKET is just about as nice. It is mostly B&W but still shows great clarity. It does show some light 'edge & handling wear' but to my eyes minimal. Some light ring & storage wear but again its minimal. All in all there are NO seam splits, NO stickers, NO writing. GOLDMINE standards would rate this at a strong EX++ (see photos). The LP pictured is the one you will receive. VINYL - M = Perfect, M- or NM = probably played but still looks near perfect, super shiny, EX++ - Very light scratches or scuff that does not affect play, super shiny EX+ = Very close to an EX++, VG+ = minimal surface & scuff with light surface noise, VG = Lost some luster, some light surface noise & light surface scratches that does not affect play, VG = I don't sell anything less SLEEVE - M = Perfect, M- or NM = Package has been opened but still looks near perfect, EX++ = Hard to see ring wear, possibly some discoloration, EX+ = More noticeable ring wear more discoloration, EX GOLDMINE is a well known vinyl record grading system that is a wonderful guide for grading older records. Shipping

Items are always packaged carefully using bubble wrap, cardboard and/or poly mailers to insure they arrive in the same condition as they left. Shipping is within 1 business day after cleared payment. I ship via USPS and always add Tracking information. You will receive an email with this number which allows you to see its location and determine its approximate delivery date. I will combine shipping costs for multiple purchases.

 INTERNATIONAL BUYERS - I will ship internationally but please understand that international shipping rates continue to be expensive. Take this into consideration when bidding. Please contact me first in order to calculate the shipping costs.

Sizes vary from designer to designer so I always try to give exact measurements of all garments. This is in addition to printed manaufacturers measurements on the garments. The 14-day Buyer Protection Policy DOES NOT cover returns due to size, garments not fitting or slight color differences. It DOES however cover items that have been misrepresented. Please read measurements carefully and ask questions BEFORE bidding on an item. Many items listed are pre-owned and I try to use my best judgement in listing its condition. Therefore I generally include numerous pictures for you to view and access the items for yourself.
