This is a Pre-FM reel to reel broadcast copy of the concert perhaps set 2, its labeled part 2 and was likely broadcast over 2 nights...unfortunately the part one of this set is lost to the ages. Great sounding tape. recorded in mono... giving its some hard hitting base...and certainly making this a rarity. There is an authorized bootleg released of this concert that is remixed in stereo.
*This may be as close as a direct copy of the master but who knows??? likely the master was a 2 track tape running at 15 ips. and this tape was a copy of that or what was also a practice back in the day was for the station to record a 4 track copy from the broadcast feed.. either way, rare and hard-hitting tape from Lynyrd Skynyrd in their near prime
**Exceptional raw version of Sweet Home...Listen to the video** AND of course Freebird ROCKs they played it live for Duane Allman 120 times that year.
