Description
HERE is the Rarest Beatles Treasure That I am offering up for Auction: The 1977 Captiols Records Beatles Love Songs Single GIRL/YOURE GOING to LOSE THAT GIRL 45 single to help promote The sales of the LOVE SONGS Album. I worked in radio and too promote the sales of Love Songs, Capitol Records sent a handful of these very ultra rare Beatles single 45 to help promote the sales, But Love Songs was selling so poorly, that Capitol Records pulled the single at the last minute and the ones that were offered to radio stations were long forgotten or ended up in auctions in the many years that have passed. During the summer of 1976 with the well selling Album released Beatles ROCK N ROLL MUSIC, Capitol Records tried to capture the sucess of that Album with Love Songs. Rock N Roll Music even had a hit single with GOT TO GET YOU INTO MY LIFE which peaked at No.7 on the Bill Board Top 40. Whatever may have been the case:Love Songs peaked at No.25 on the Billboard Top 200 Best Selling albums list and then Love Songs took a nose dive, and this was even during the Christmas season of 1977.
With repackaged Beatles albums by Capitol Records, Beatle Fans sent a message that they were leary of repackaged goods! Also, Ebay sellers have always sold just the picture sleeve for hundreds of dollars with no 45 RECORD. HERE IS BOTH RECORD & SLEEVE!! This 45 record will be insured and carefully packed to assure of the greatest care, if you USE The Buy It Now Button, I will include a cherry 0ak wooden customized frame to protect the record and it's pictured sleeve! ALSO ADDED BONUS The Beatles Mini LOVE SONGS Album compact disk of the orignal album with parchement paper lyric booklet with all the words to the songs.
