Description
This auction is for a 1977 Lynyrd Skynyrd Street Survivor's LP - "Fire" cover - MCA-3029. This record is from an estate (brother). This record was found in a box on the floor with water stains on the bottom part of the box. The record has some damage due to this - not overly horrible and it definitely has no odor.
The record was originally sealed. I had noticed that there appeared to be a small portion of a red piece of paper that was outside of the jacket. I removed the shrink wrap so that I could make sure the inside and record were okay. Overall it's nice - the record is in perfect condition, but the inserts do have some staining and that one folded edge.
The gatefold jacket does have some issues inside, but primarily some staining/creasing marks and paper pull off but very little. The front outer jacket has one little notch that is on the top left (that was there when the wrap was on it, and that little portion had no wrap on it). Other than that, the front and back weren't damaged at all on the bottom. The record sleeve has some very light waving on the bottom, but the vinyl itself was not effected.
Overall, the record will make a nice addition to any collection - I remember he had told me he had it - I also remember when he told me he left a window open and water got into the room. This is the outcome of that rain! I placed the record on a turntable to make sure there was no warping.
I've provided pictures of any damage that I could find on the items. Please look them over.
100% guaranteed! Please review my feedback and bid with confidence. Proper packing measures will be used to ship this item using a record mailer, cardboard inserts and bubble wrap.
