Description

Offered straight from my personal collection, this is the historic original "Flames" gatefold cover that was recalled immediately following the tragic October 1977 plane crash. The spine retains the early production three-star layout mark. This specific copy features the highly coveted "Mastered by Capitol" stamp in the dead wax, indicating it was cut at Capitol Tower Studios for superior audio dynamic range. Buy with confidence!Condition Details:Jacket: VG (Very Good) - Solid gatefold sleeve with some honest shelf wear and aging, but structurally intact with no major splits.Vinyl: VG (Very Good) - Clean disc showing light surface marks/scuffs that do not overpower the music. Full visual luster. Will gladly play-test completely upon request.Inserts: VG (Very Good) - All original paper insert sheets are present, complete, and fully intact. The record has been carefully handled and will ship safely housed in a brand new, archival-quality 2 mil poly outer sleeve. An essential, authentic piece of classic Southern rock history!
