Description
1978 first type German ECM with the fat lettering labels of Leo Smith - Divine Love LP, featuring Lester Bowie & Charlie Haden, Dwight Andrews getting deep and low on Alto flute and bass clarinet, Bobby Naughton on Vibraharp, Marimba and bells and Kenny Wheeler in different combinations. This is a Spiritual Jazz monster, with the leader as usual on trumpet and flugel horn, but also steel-o-phone gongs and percussion for that Pharoah vibe in places, I think you can see that from the instrumentation. Three self composed works, one featuring the three trumpeters. Near mint record plays near mint in a very good plus sleeve. No pen splits or bends to sleeve, not warped and not off centre, clean labels. No other Uk listing at time of adding this here. Note the postage on overseas listings taking their prices way over mine, let alone duty!. Our ethos is to offer you best sounding analogue only pressings of vintage records. This is already in a new heavy poly outer with antistatic inners added with outer sleeve and records all layered behind each other to prevent splits.
