I am starting to get very low on these Japanese issues of the Deccas. They sell like hotcakes!
1979 Audiophile Ansermet & the OSR in the TCHAIKOVSKY Nutcracker Suites 1 & 2.
There is no SXL, it came out in the UK as the whole ballet only, more than some would want. The US had a single lp version of this, also called a London and is big ticket when seen (CS 6097). I bought the back room contents of a hi fi shop 20 years ago, when he downsized, and it included mainly lps that he considered the best pressings. He would check the quality of the lp and seal them. I am only now getting around to selling these & this type that I put aside for myself. This series that Celebrates the Art of Ansermet is wide band red and silver London (i.e. Decca SXL's) labels, and this has the OBI sash in VG condition. The sleeve looks Excellent, and the record is flat.

This is already in a new heavy poly outer with antistatic inners added with outer sleeve and records all layered behind each other to prevent splits.
