Description
I am selling my complete collection of The Beatles and Beatles-related records, albums, alternate versions, and novelties.
This lot is for a 7” vinyl record, 45 rpm, titled “TIP FO MY TONGUE” and “ONE AND ONE IS TWO”. These 2 songtracks are back-to-back on the same record by THE BADBEATS, released in 1979.
This release is rarely seen and very-hard-to-find, especially with the picture sleeve.
Both songs were written by the Beatles writing team of John Lennon & Paul McCartney.
Both songs were written by them, but never sung by the Beatles. Rather, Lennon/McCartney wrote these 2 songs for other artists to perform. Lennon/McCartney did this for a few songs only (i.e., songs they wrote but never performed, to be given to other artists).
The record was released under the BEAT BAD Records, label # 100, using the same yellow/orange swirls on the label as the original Capitol Records that the Beatles were under U.S. contract. The Picture sleeve also is commemorating the Beatles picture sleeve on their “I Want To Hold Your Hand” cover of their 45 rpm record release.
In addition, this record has its original picture sleeve in excellent condition. There are no split seams, folds or other marks on either side. Very clean.
The record is in excellent condition with no surface scratches or other marks.
