Relatively scarce (all the others listed here on ebay are Dutch at time of listing) 1979 Uk Decca First anywhere issue of Peter Maxwell Davies Symphony from Simon Rattle & the Philharmonia. Superb account of fine writing from the composer for his symphonic debut. Most desirable 1G1G stampers as can be seen in the pics on a big screen tell us it was mastered by the great Ted Burkett, generally regarded as the best of a very fine Decca team of transfer engineers. Near mint record in a near mint sleeve with light age spotting to rear only. Plays Near mint Our ethos is to offer you best sounding analogue only pressings of vintage records. Here is another beauty of that type. We offer massive postage subsidies to overseas buyers on multiple purchases. i.e £1 extra per lp to a maximum of £15, then no extra charge. We pack carefully in custom made hard card boxes. If the appearance or playgrade suggests it requires it, our records are cleaned on a wash and vac machine, using art du son fluid in distilled water. This is already in a new heavy poly outer with antistatic inners added with outer sleeve and records all layered behind each other to prevent splits.
